This is a full-time evening position, working from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The Addiction Treatment/Recovery Specialist monitors and supports patients, facilitates recovery-oriented activities, and assists with adjunct groups and meetings, including documentation. This role involves providing support during evenings and weekends, de-escalating emotional reactions, collecting bio-psycho-social data, and making initial family contacts. The specialist will also provide new patients with facility orientation, monitor patients during free time and bedtime preparation, and conduct bed and room checks. Significant events are communicated via logs, patient charts, and verbal reports to key staff. The work is typically performed in a clinical environment, and the employee is accountable for job-specific obligations and organizational policies.
