Addiction Therapist - LCSW, LPC, LMFT
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring an Addiction Therapist for its detox and residential treatment facility in South Bend, Indiana. The therapist provides individualized, evidence-based addiction treatment and is responsible for clinical services and aftercare for an assigned client caseload. The role includes therapy with individuals, groups, families, and couples; crisis prevention and intervention; thorough clinical documentation; and coordination of care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and families. The therapist is expected to model ethical conduct and recovery principles, including honesty, accountability, dignity, and respect.
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid Indiana licensure or certification required to practice in this role: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
- Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
- Conduct individual, group, family, and couple therapy sessions.
- Manage all clinical needs, services, and aftercare for an assigned client caseload.
- Prevent, intervene, and de-escalate during crises.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventions.
- Coordinate care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and family members.
- Model ethical conduct and recovery principles, including honesty, accountability, dignity, and respect.
