About The Position
Centurion is seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at the Putnamville Correctional Facility located in Greencastle, Indiana. The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility, through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.
Requirements
- Must have Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I or II (CADAC I or CADAC II) certification or higher (LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or be actively working toward attaining a CADAC I or CADAC II within two (2) years of hire
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's in Human Services preferred
- May substitute higher education for experience but must hold a four-year college degree and possess a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
