About The Position

Mirmont Treatment Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role involves caring for patients, both inpatient and outpatient, with drug-alcohol dependence. The center's Valor with Integrity Program for Emergency Responders (V.I.P.E.R.) provides specialized addiction and trauma treatment for law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and combat veterans. Mirmont focuses on healing wounds and supporting patients on their journey to wellness and renewal.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical/surgical, drug and alcohol, or psychiatric environment.
• RN Diploma or ASN required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients with drug-alcohol dependence.
• Providing treatment within the Valor with Integrity Program for Emergency Responders (V.I.P.E.R.).
• Participating in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees.
• Engaging in Unit Councils.
• Contributing to evidence-based research projects.
• Precepting new staff.
