Position has the responsibility for supporting the mission, vision, values of the hospital; demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process when providing care to all patients; meeting the established standards of the AORN nursing practice in supervising, delegating, and coordinating personnel assigned to the unit when in charge; promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • ACLS within 6 months of date of hire
  • PALS within 6 months of date of hire

Nice To Haves

  • One or more current years of acute care experience as a RN with (1) year peri-operative nursing experience
