About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings. We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at the Rockville Correctional Facility located in Rockville, Indiana. The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility, through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field preferred
Must have Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I or II (CADAC I or CAD II) certification or higher (LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or be actively working toward attaining a CADAC I or CADAC II within two (2) years of hire
May substitute higher education for experience but must hold a four-year college degree and possess a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance

Nice To Haves

CADAC I or CADAC II certification (or higher) required OR the ability to obtain within 24 months of hire
