About The Position
Centurion is seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at New Castle Correctional Facility in New Castle, Indiana. The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility, through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred.
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant II (CADAC II+, LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or higher certification/licensure or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hiring date.
- Must show/obtain current tuberculosis screening documentation.
- Must have active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- CADAC II certification (or higher) required or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hire.
