About The Position

This is an academic faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level through the Department of Psychiatry. The position will be responsible for direct patient care and will work as a leader of a multi-disciplinary team. Patient care sites include psychiatry residents, rotating residents from internal medicine and family medicine programs, and medical students. The Psychiatry department values and supports the growth, academic development, and advancement of its faculty members. Strong collaborative partnerships support the educational mission, offering state-of-the-art facilities including a new, technologically advanced simulation training center. Requirements

Board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry
Fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry (required)
Passion for patient-centered, stigma-free care

Responsibilities

Deliver expert psychiatric care to patients with substance use disorders
Work alongside addiction medicine docs, therapists, social workers, and peer recovery coaches
Create innovative treatment approaches using MAT, psychotherapy, and integrated models
Help train the next generation of clinicians (if you like teaching)
