Addiction & Mental Health Worker, Housing Always & Supportive Living Apts

CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health ServicesLondon, ON
CA$27 - CA$37Onsite

About The Position

Every person in our community has the right to safe, affordable, quality housing and to live with dignity and as much independence and choice as possible. As a member of the Supportive Housing Team, you will be supporting individuals who may experience addictions and/or mental health concerns and have struggled with housing stability. By providing affordable, independent apartments with supports on-site, your team will be at the ready to provide early support and intervention, when clients need it most. This approach ultimately prevents concerns from escalating to a point that would have resulted in eviction in a non-supportive or market rent housing situation, accomplishing our goal of keeping our clients housed. We also work towards building a sense of community by offering groups and light-touch support within the buildings for any tenants who may benefit from low-barrier addictions and/or mental health support including but not limited to system navigation, crisis intervention and supportive listening. Consider revitalizing your career and making a difference in your community by joining our team!
