About The Position

Recovery Works NW is a family-owned community organization dedicated to addressing substance use and mental health-related distress through innovative, judgment-free, and compassionate solutions. We emphasize an interdisciplinary approach to treatment, building therapeutic alliances, incorporating lived experience, and collaborating with community partners. This role involves providing individualized patient care with an emphasis on harm reduction within an expansive Sublocade program and offering all other forms of MAT. The position offers access to a full continuum of care, including referrals to a detox clinic, and is supported by dedicated staff including front/back office, medical assistants, recovery peers, and a behavioral health department. The work environment is positive and collaborative.

Requirements

Addiction Medicine/MAT experience (required).
Prescribing buprenorphine: 1 year (Required).
Active state license with prescriptive privileges (required).
Ability to pass an OCHA Background check.
Ability to successfully complete a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer.

Nice To Haves

Sublocade injection: 1 year (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide medical services for patients with substance use and mental health-related distress.
Administer Sublocade injections and other forms of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Prescribe buprenorphine.
Offer individualized patient care with an emphasis on harm reduction.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including behavioral health professionals, recovery peers, and support staff.
Refer patients to the detox clinic and other services within the full continuum of care.
Maintain an active state license with prescriptive privileges.
Pass an OCHA Background check and complete a urine analysis (UA) after accepting the job offer.
