Requirements

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience (operations, logistics, warehouse, customer service—any fast-moving environment)
  • Experience managing and coaching frontline staff
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office; comfort with tracking tools is a plus
  • A valid NYS driver’s license and clean driving record
  • The ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Passion for mission-driven work and community impact
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, and complete daily physical tasks
  • Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in varied conditions (heat, cold, drafts, fumes)
  • Ability to read documents, communicate clearly, and use office/operational equipment

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, schedule, and develop ADC Attendants across multiple sites
  • Conduct regular on‑site visits to ensure safety, cleanliness, and strong community relationships
  • Support donors and resolve inquiries, including accidentally donated items
  • Coordinate large-scale donation pickups for colleges, churches, and other partners
  • Host and oversee quarterly reuse and repair events
  • Track and analyze operational performance using reports and dashboards
  • Welcome and onboard volunteers using Volunteer Hub
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and support organizational goals
  • Show up reliably — your presence makes all the difference
  • Pitch in where needed — you’re a team player through and through
