About The Position

The ADC Donor Greeter is responsible for general donation center duties including accepting donations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, neat, and safe work environment. This position also involves sorting, cleaning, and packaging merchandise for shipment and sale in stores. Additionally, responsibilities may include stocking merchandise and conducting sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in bringing donations inside.
  • Ensure accurate donation log reporting by recording donations using daily tracking methods.
  • Sort donations into proper equipment for processing and transportation.
  • Properly label all equipment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of merchandise and equipment onto/off trucks, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and professional service-oriented attitude toward customers, greeting them within 10 seconds of arrival and addressing concerns courteously.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the store in a neat, clean, and organized manner, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and mopping floors.
  • Act as a positive team member by sharing ideas and concerns with coworkers and management.
  • Sort, test, and clean items for quality and processing.
  • Ensure accurate payment collection if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
