ADAS Verification and Validation Engineer

Ford Motor Company•Dearborn, MI
•$69,000 - $162,900•Hybrid

About The Position

Ford is seeking an ADAS Sensing Systems Validation Engineer to validate and continuously improve advanced driver-assistance sensing systems across its vehicle lineup. The engineer will develop and execute design validation methods to assess sensing performance at component, system, and vehicle levels under diverse environmental conditions and across vehicle platforms. The role also contributes to defining use cases, functional requirements, and performance targets for ADAS sensing systems. The position requires systems-level thinking and collaboration with Hardware and Software teams, Systems Engineering, Program Management, feature owners, and suppliers. The engineer will support system upgrades and enhancements, develop data analysis methods for multiple test environments, and identify opportunities to use HIL and CAE methodologies for platform and sensor verification. The role also champions continuous improvement of verification and validation processes through industry best practices and emerging technologies. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work four or more days per week. Ford offers a salary range of $69,000–$162,900. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
