Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Requires experience and competence in schematic design and woodworking.
- Requires knowledge of shop equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Responsibilities
- Provides seating and adaptive equipment fitting, fabrication and maintenance under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Teaches caregivers proper maintenance of wheelchairs and seating systems.
- Documents patient information and facilitates scheduling of return patient visits for routine maintenance.
- Maintains clean and stocked treatment areas, shop area and mobile shop unit.
