About The Position

The New York Post is seeking an Ad Sales Marketing Coordinator for its in-house advertising strategy team, Post Studios. This role involves creating proposals and marketing materials, conducting market research and competitive analysis, assisting in pitching and producing custom programs, and managing sold campaigns. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with Creative, Account Management, Ad Operations, Communications, and Consumer Marketing teams. This is a strategic and creative marketing role within a fast-paced digital newsroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing strategy team by participating in brainstorm conversations with internal teams to develop scalable, multi-platform client solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of sales materials and presentations in response to RFPs, proactive opportunities, and other sales requests.
  • Coordinate pricing and media plan details with Account Management and Account Executives.
  • Craft branded content concept write-ups that effectively translate custom marketing ideas into exciting, coherent pitches.
  • Develop custom native campaigns, as well as sponsorship and activation opportunities to support client objectives.
  • Develop client, account, competitive, and syndicated research for general and client-specific sales materials.
  • Participate in client calls and pitch meetings.
  • Help manage campaign execution.
  • Communicate timelines and set reasonable expectations for product outcome and project fulfillment.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all external partners and clients.
  • Develop and write branded content articles.
  • Create post-campaign recap decks.
  • Attend and participate in/support sponsored events as needed.
  • Other projects as assigned.
