About The Position

Gainwell is seeking an AD HOC Report Resource to support Medi-Cal claims data requests and litigation support activities. The role independently reviews and analyzes claims data requests, builds database queries, exports and filters information, and prepares data for secure delivery. The data may support audits or investigations of provider billing practices, and the role may also provide claims data reports in response to subpoenas. The position analyzes and documents business processes, recommends improvements in support of client technology objectives, and helps translate business requirements into expected impacts through basic conceptual data and process models. It also creates, executes, or analyzes basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are reflected in system design. This is a remote position for candidates residing in the Greater Sacramento, California area. Occasional attendance at the West Sacramento office may be required for meetings, special training, or other business needs.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience translating technical goals and requirements into actionable solutions for clients.
Knowledge of Google Data Analytics and Citrix.
Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in the healthcare industry, including insurance, provider support, IT, or operations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must reside in the Greater Sacramento, California area.

Responsibilities

Independently review and analyze requests for Medi-Cal claims data.
Build database queries, export data, filter information, and prepare it for secure delivery.
Support audits and investigations of provider billing practices by supplying claims data.
Analyze, plan, design, and document business processes, and recommend improvements that support the client's technological objectives.
Bridge communication between clients, project managers, and technical personnel to define, track, and communicate business requirements and their expected impact.
Build basic conceptual data and process models.
Create, execute, or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are incorporated into system design.
Perform administrative duties related to Medi-Cal litigation support, including providing claims data reports in response to subpoenas.
