About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Acute Care Surgeons in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute settings. The role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday practice with no nights, weekends, or pagers. Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted or clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and relevant skills testing.
• No previous wound care experience is required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborate in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through the healing process.
• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.
