About The Position

MedOne is seeking a full-time Acute Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. MedOne is an independent hospital medicine practice with over 190 physicians and advanced practice clinicians, and more than 35 administrative staff, focused on improving patient care and the delivery of high-quality care. This role involves evaluating, developing treatment plans, and managing new and complex acute and chronically ill patients on a busy Hospitalist service, in collaboration with Hospitalist physicians. The shift for this position is the Evening Shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• Current national certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Will also consider if soon to graduate
• Prior experience preferred
• Eligible for hospital privileges

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, develops treatment plans and management of new and complex acute and chronically ill patients on a busy Hospitalist service while working in collaboration with Hospitalist physicians.
