Actuarial Pricing Intern - Summer 2027

Requirements
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- Demonstrate sufficient progress in understanding and applying basic actuarial principles is required
- Studying for CAS preliminary exams; may have 1-2 passed
- Basic Excel experience
- Interest in insurance industry
- Knowledge of actuarial exam process
- Strong organization and communication skills
- The ability to learn, understand, and apply technical concepts
- Ownership of tasks
- Works within deadlines with guidance
- Able to manage time and prioritize with guidance
- Adapts future behaviors based on prior mistakes
- Accepts and reacts positively to feedback
- Seeks out assistance as needed

- Passed at least one Actuarial Exam strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide Actuarial Pricing support for all lines of business
- Support pricing of new program opportunities
- In conjunction with the annual Planning process, develop premium and loss ratio projections
- Complete and distribute monthly pricing reports
- Support Insurance Department rate filings as needed
- Develop new rating tools as requested and support migration of existing tools to new platforms
