Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Progress actuarial exams – preferably 2 exams minimum
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends
- Intermediate or better Excel skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in math, data science, statistics, or actuarial science degree
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform data validation and quality checks
- Support with actuarial pricing analyses and portfolio reviews
- Support reserve monitoring and related reporting
- Develop understanding of insurance operations, statutory requirements, and actuarial concepts
- Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams as needed
