The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking undergraduate interns for our Pricing & Predictive Analytics and Corporate Actuarial departments for Summer 2027. This internship offers meaningful work experience at our corporate headquarters in Fairfield, OH. Many departments at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio, offer hybrid work options, empowering interns, and associates to work from home several days a week. Depending on your role and responsibilities, hybrid options may be available for those working at headquarters. Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college/university.
  • Major in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Passed at least one actuarial exam (preferred).
  • In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred).
  • Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable).
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools (specifically Excel) and one or more - R, SQL, SAS, and related software (preferred).
  • Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
  • Will not require sponsorship at any time in the future, including Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT).

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in Property and Casualty Insurance.
  • Clear communication, both oral and written.
  • Ability to solve problems systematically and creatively.
  • Passed at least one actuarial exam.
  • Cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher.
  • Proficient in R, SQL, SAS, and related software.
