The Actuarial Associate will analyze and evaluate the likelihood of future events to reduce and manage future risks. This role involves completing and interpreting actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using statistical programming and database tools. Responsibilities also include performing rate level pricing functions, preparing monitoring reports on program or product pricing, and measuring historical relationships to develop forecasts and identify trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience beyond degree.
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare or insurance actuarial work.
  • Knowledge of reserving and monthly financial reporting.
  • Advanced programming and technical skills in data mining, extraction, and analysis.

Responsibilities
