About The Position

The Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP) at MassMutual offers unparalleled experience and development opportunities for college graduates. This program is designed to support participants through their actuarial exams and prepare them for leadership roles within the organization. Participants will gain broad technical and industry knowledge through rotations in various business and corporate units. The program emphasizes meaningful work, mentorship, high-profile projects, networking with senior actuaries, executive speaker series, external seminars, corporate learning and development programs, community volunteer opportunities, and social events. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance, Economics or related major)
  • Completion of 1 or more actuarial exams
  • Commitment to pursue Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a MassMutual Actuarial Intern
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)

Responsibilities

  • Attend actuarial seminars and meetings to enhance understanding of industry issues and network with professionals.
  • Participate in internal programs to develop leadership competencies such as interpersonal relations, presentation skills, and business acumen.
