The ACTT Team Leader is responsible for guiding, directing, and evaluating each assigned team to ensure excellent, courteous, helpful, and respectful services. This role involves providing effective oversight, direction, and clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff/programs. The Team Leader will also assume responsibility for hiring, discipline, firing, training, and performance appraisals, ensuring programs are fully staffed with qualified, trained employees. They will ensure effective coverage for individuals served and build and manage an effective and clinically sound team. Additionally, the Team Leader will serve as a practicing clinician on the Assertive Community Treatment Team, coordinate activities and services, lead meetings, disseminate information, and provide support to ACTT staff. A key responsibility is ensuring each individual served has an appropriate, clinically-based, and culturally sensitive assessment. The role includes monitoring and assessing the quality of services through audits, peer reviews, and direct observation. Marketing the agency and program by developing referral sources and maintaining positive relationships within the communities served is also crucial. The Team Leader will implement and monitor budgets, manage finances, and travel to community locations as needed. They will monitor medical records management to ensure compliance with agency policies and other requirements. Finally, the Team Leader must attend and participate in meetings and training, maintain certifications, and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations.
