About The Position

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation is hiring a full-time Activity/Member Assistant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The role supports older adults and young adults in a supportive, engaging environment. The assistant helps plan and deliver activities, provides hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, and contributes to members’ safety and well-being. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays. The employer describes the pay as competitive hourly pay and offers medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days, as well as paid time off. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Clean background check and drug test.
Physical ability to assist members with personal care tasks.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing activities such as arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
Provide hands-on personal care and activities-of-daily-living assistance, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
Engage with members to foster a positive and interactive environment.
Set up and clean activity areas to maintain a safe and organized space.
Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
Monitor and document changes in members’ behavior or health, and report them to the RN Administrator.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
