About The Position

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation is hiring an Activity/Member Assistant in Georgetown, South Carolina. The role supports activities and provides personal care to elderly and young adult members in a supportive, engaging environment. It is part-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with extended hours as needed; weekends and holidays are not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver's license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Physical ability to assist members with personal care tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing activities such as arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Engage with members and foster a positive, interactive environment.
• Set up and clean activity areas to maintain a safe, organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document changes in client behavior or health and report them to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
