About The Position

As an Activities Associate, you’ll lead recreational and social activities that bring residents together, fostering a sense of community and improving their quality of life. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has a creative mindset, and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead activities, events, and entertainment that promote residents’ socialization, creativity, and physical well-being.
• Communicate upcoming activities and events to residents and encourage participation.
• Assess residents’ cognitive and physical abilities to tailor activities and ensure they are inclusive.
• Set up and organize activity spaces and ensure equipment and supplies are ready for use.
• Facilitate individual and group activities, including arts and crafts, games, music sessions, exercise routines, and social gatherings.
• Document participation and outcomes of activities.
