About The Position

The Activity Aide plans and organizes recreational activities for adults with medical disabilities and helps implement activities such as painting, music, games, and cooking. The role provides support and encouragement to participants, assists with activity-area setup and cleanup, maintains attendance and participation records, communicates with participants, families, and staff, and helps with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Creativity with painting, music, playing games, and cooking.
• Experience or skill working with adults with medical disabilities.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize recreational activities for adults with medical disabilities.
• Assist in implementing activities such as painting, music, playing games, and cooking.
• Provide support and encouragement to participants during activities.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of activity areas.
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
