Activity Aide - C.N.A - Skilled Nursing Facility
About The Position
The Activities Aide assists with planning, organizing, and facilitating meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in the long-term care facility. This position promotes resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life by providing activities that accommodate residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs. The Activities Aide works closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans. The Activity Aide will assist with transporting residents. May work as a C.N.A.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a C.N.A in the state of Arkansas.
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.

- Provides activities that accommodate residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs.
- Works closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans.
- Assists with transporting residents.
