About The Position
The Activity Aide/Coordinator uses creativity and an upbeat personality to enrich residents’ lives and improve their quality of life. Activities may include painting, playing board or card games, exercising, and talking with residents. The role focuses on bringing joy, creating memories, and making a positive difference in residents’ daily lives within a warm, caring, home-like senior living community.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Love working with seniors.
- Be a flexible, fun, energetic people person who can project calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.
Responsibilities
- Engage residents in activities such as painting, board and card games, and exercise.
- Talk with residents and help enrich their daily lives and quality of life.
- Bring joy and create meaningful memories for residents.
