About The Position
The Activities Therapist implements a comprehensive planned program of activities designed to meet the special needs of geriatric, disabled, and convalescent residents in a skilled nursing and extended-care facility. The position reports directly to the Director of Activity Services and, in the Director’s absence, to the Administrator.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Formal training or equivalent experience, such as nursing assistant, C.N.A., or EMT.
Responsibilities
- Implement a comprehensive planned activities program for residents in the skilled nursing and extended-care facility.
- Design and provide activities to meet the special needs of geriatric, disabled, and convalescent residents.
