Activities / Life Enrichment Assistant
About The Position
Salina Presbyterian Manor is hiring an Activities / Life Enrichment Assistant to help develop and carry out the Community’s life enrichment programs in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The assistant may be directed by the department director or Executive Director to support residents’ interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. The role advances the value that the resident comes first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. The position is part of a faith-based, not-for-profit organization focused on residents’ quality of life. Pay starts at $14.50 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under a premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma desired.
- One year of experience in activities programs in a health care setting preferred.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
