About The Position

The Activities Director leads and implements Life Enrichment programs that bring joy, connection, and purpose to residents. The role organizes and oversees activities aligned with resident needs and Trilogy’s service standards, and calls for strong organizational skills, creative program planning, and a commitment to improving the lives of seniors.

Requirements

• At least one of the following: preferred credential of CTRS, ADC, ACC, or CDP; a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation; certification as an Occupational Therapist or an Occupational Therapy license; or 2 or more years of relevant experience in an Activities Director role.
• If providing transportation services: be at least 25 years old, have a valid driver’s license, pass a Motor Vehicle Record Search, and hold any certifications necessary for transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee a variety of Life Enrichment activities that align with resident needs and Trilogy service standards.
• Create staff schedules and support Life Enrichment Associates (LEAs) in completing tasks that meet residents’ needs and enhance their daily lives.
• Assess program effectiveness using feedback from residents, families, and the team, as well as survey results, and make improvements as needed.
• Address activity-related resident concerns promptly, within 24–48 hours.
• Develop and distribute newsletters, create social media posts, and promote upcoming events across multiple platforms.
• Recruit, screen, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers to enhance program offerings.
