About The Position

The Activities Coordinator supports resident recreation and engagement at Addison of Bluffton, an assisted living and memory care community in Bluffton, South Carolina. The role includes programming and engagement in daily recreation for memory care residents, supporting independent recreation based on individual preferences, and respecting residents’ personal choices in accordance with their service plans. The coordinator interacts courteously with residents, families, staff, and visitors and helps ensure residents are free from abuse. The role also attends required in-service education programs.

Responsibilities

Interact with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
Help ensure residents are free from physical, verbal, and sexual abuse.
Support residents’ independent recreation based on their individual preferences.
Ensure residents’ right to make personal choices in agreement with their service plans.
Attend all in-service education programs mandated by Sonida Senior Living and state and federal guidelines.
Program and engage residents in daily recreation in memory care.
