Activities Coordinator (CNA)

About The Position

The Activities Coordinator provides exemplary service to residents by presenting classes and instruction, coordinating events, and assisting with transportation as needed. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pay is $22.50–$23 per hour. A CNA is preferred. The role promotes resident attendance and participation in Wellness programs; teaches and facilitates programs; implements group and individual Wellness activities; works with volunteers and community groups; helps set up Wellness and community events; schedules transportation as required; and drives vehicles as necessary. Requirements

High school graduate.
One to two years of experience in wellness programs, preferably with seniors.
Valid driver’s license and proof of a good driving record.
Commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain one within a reasonable time of employment, as required.
First Aid Certification.

Nice To Haves

CNA preferred.
Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote and monitor resident attendance and participation in all Wellness programs.
Teach and facilitate programs as appropriate.
Implement a variety of group and individual Wellness programs.
Work with volunteers and community groups to implement programs.
Assist with setting up Wellness and community events.
Assist with scheduling transportation as required.
Drive vehicles as necessary.
