About The Position

As an Activities Associate, organize and lead recreational activities to help resort guests enjoy their vacations and create memorable experiences. In coordination with the Activities Supervisor, operate activity-related areas, including the movie theater, fitness center, pool and cabana, banquet rooms, and tanning rooms.

Requirements

Creativity and customer obsession.
Excellent communication skills.
Good judgment when interacting with guests and team members.
A state driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Depending on location, one or more of the following certifications, or the ability to become certified: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, or Food Server Health Card.

Responsibilities

Create, plan, and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
Promote and register guests for resort activities.
Conduct and record inspections of activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
Manage a cash bank using proper cashiering procedures when applicable.
Attend and complete required resort and company trainings.
Handle safety issues and incidents immediately.
