About The Position

Marquis Companies is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as an Activities Assistant. As an Activities Assistant, you will collaborate with the Activities Director to plan and implement activities for residents in an Assisted Living Facility. You will also conduct one-on-one activities for residents requiring more individualized attention. Documentation of activities and participation is a key part of this role, utilizing an electronic medical records system. Marquis Companies operates 26 senior care facilities across Oregon, Nevada, and California, with over 4,000 employees united by the purpose of being champions of every journey.

Requirements

  • Experience working in Activities / Recreational Therapy in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with the elderly population.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute on-going programming of Activities in our Assisted Living Facility.
  • Conduct one-on-one activities with residents that need more individualized attention.
  • Documentation of activities and all participation.
