About The Position

The Life Enrichment - Activities Assistant at Miller’s Health Systems supports the Life Enrichment Director in planning and carrying out activities that enrich patients’ lives and contribute to patient satisfaction and well-being. The role includes making one-on-one visits with patients, encouraging them to participate in activities, interacting with volunteers, and potentially transporting patients to scheduled events away from the facility. The position is part-time and includes van-driving responsibilities.

Requirements

• Complete the pre-employment process and screening successfully.
• Pass a physical examination for employment at the facility.
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training.
• Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Have good communication skills.
• Possess a current driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be professional in appearance and behavior.
• Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in healthcare or patient activities is preferred.
• Be friendly and comfortable interacting with a variety of personalities.
• Be creative, organized, and comfortable with a flexible schedule.
