About The Position

Brightview Senior Living is hiring an Activities Assistant, referred to by the organization as a Vibrant Living Assistant, for its Wellspring Village, which serves residents with dementia and other cognitive care needs. The role helps residents enjoy each day by supporting engaging and fulfilling programming tailored to their spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional needs. The assistant participates in activities, encourages residents to join programs, and showcases daily events through social media, email, and newsletters.

Requirements

Have a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
Hold an active driver's license in good standing.

Experience or skills related to healthcare, hospitality, activities, activity assistance, event planning, life enrichment, programming assistance, or recreation.

Responsibilities

Get to know residents to help plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming.
Participate in activities and help organize and run games, painting, singing, and music events.
Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs.
Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities.
