About The Position

Zantech is seeking a talented Action Officer to support a Service Delivery & Resource Allocation Management Support project. This is an onsite role based out of Arlington, VA. The Action Officer will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative and coordination functions, including tracking taskers, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and preparing briefings and reports. This is a highly visible, entry-level position responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office and supporting senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience tracking project status, milestones, and actions in a government or professional environment.
  • Experience tracking action items, milestones, and program status across multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Proficiency preparing briefings, meeting agendas, and read-ahead packages for senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with proven ability to manage calendar de-confliction.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) in a professional setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must possess an Active US Top Secret (TS); must be eligible for SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting government senior executives (GS-15 or SES equivalent) preferred.
  • Familiarity with DARPA or DoD organizational processes preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
  • DAU program management introductory coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Track and coordinate all ACO taskers, drills, and exercises.
  • Maintain the Office Director, Deputy Director, and ADPM calendars; manage emails, calls, and messages.
  • Manage office administrative functions including IT coordination, visitor management, and meeting support.
  • Support DIRO Program Review preparation.
  • Support preparation and presentation of briefings and reports up to TS/SCI level.
  • Track and coordinate 100% of all ACO taskers, drills, and exercises; maintain 98% accuracy in tracking logs and ensure all submissions meet established deadlines.
  • Maintain ACO Office Director, Deputy Director, and ADPM calendars; create/accept meeting invitations, coordinate visit requests, and de-conflict scheduling across ACO Government personnel.
  • Manage ACO email, telephone, and fax communications to effectively coordinate schedules; return all calls and messages within 4 business hours.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics including read-ahead materials, visitor access clearance coordination, and room setup.
  • Support preparation of briefings and reports up to TS/SCI level under direction of senior analysts.
  • Track program status, actions, and milestones and provide regular updates to ensure the team is informed and prepared for high-level engagements.
  • Support DIRO Program Review preparation logistics.
  • Assist with IT coordination, visitor escort per DARPA policy, and badge/access management tracking.
