About The Position

Merakey is seeking an ACT Team Lead in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Team Lead establishes, administers, and directs the program of a Forensic or Assertive Community Treatment Team. These are self-contained clinical teams responsible for directly providing treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental health illnesses. The Team Lead supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support, promotes service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to clients, and also functions as a practicing clinician on the team.

The position pays $79,997 per year, plus a $7,500 yearly mileage stipend.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
• 2–3 years of post-master's experience working with the severely mentally ill population.
• A current LCSW or LPC license.
• Good organizational skills.

• Supervisory or program management experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
