About The Position

ConnectPrep is seeking a test-prep instructor to help students simplify and deconstruct the ACT and SAT. Instructors teach all sections of standardized tests, including math, reading, English, and science, and help students build foundational knowledge and study skills. The role also involves mentoring students and supporting their life skills, self-esteem, and confidence through positive reinforcement. ConnectPrep selects instructors through a vetting process designed to assess teaching ability and subject mastery. The position offers flexible hours, industry-leading hourly compensation, performance bonuses, hourly rate increases, and growth opportunities. The work may be remote or in person.

Requirements

• In-depth teaching experience with the ACT and SAT.
• Ability to teach all sections of a standardized test, such as math, reading, English, and science.
• Excellent GPA and test scores in the 98th to 99th percentile.
• Strong math and quantitative skills.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly, supported by successful teaching outcomes.
• Great communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Patience, passion, versatility, dedication, creativity, drive, energy, and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Ability to help students excel and bring out the best in them.

Responsibilities
