Acquisition Manager
About The Position
Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine PEO UWS (SWFTS) Program Offices and supporting organizations, including PMS 401 – Submarine Acoustic Systems, PMS 425 – Combat and Weapons Control, PMS 435 – Submarine Electromagnetic Systems, SUB-S, 07TR – Submarine Trainer Readiness, and Cybersecurity. TEAM SUB combines the Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS), and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office (AUKUS). Its structure divides a single submarine-centric organization into specific PEOs to enhance structures and processes in submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance. This position is located in the PMS425 Program Office.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of contracting and acquisition experience for DoD/DoW/DoN programs.
- 10 or more years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field.
- 10 or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs.
- Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business or technical field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- A secret security clearance.
