About The Position

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Intelligence Support Professional providing support to the NC3 Contract. The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPAE NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN). The employee will contribute technically and administratively to Intelligence Sensitive programs within AFNWC/NC and address specific intelligence requirements while assessing the impact of technically advanced threat and security support issues to reduce program and operational risks. Acquisition Intelligence (AI) is provided to program efforts by teaming with program offices, product centers, and the Intelligence Community (IC) to provide system engineering and technical analysis level inputs in support of major acquisition decisions and in accordance with current acquisition guidelines. Develop and staff Intelligence Health Assessments (IHA)’s as documented in DoDI 5000.86 and AFMC Material Intelligence Enterprise (MIE) Manual. This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 3 - 7 in relevant career field
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI with an investigation current within 5 years or in Continued Evaluation (CE). Interim or outdated investigations are not acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, defining, and documenting intelligence requirements for Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) Senior Leaders, MDA Program Elements, and then prepare and present briefings, updates, and summaries to portfolio leadership.
  • Review, tailor, and analyze Threat Assessments, integration dependencies and requirements, cross-program analyses, Information Support Plans (ISPs), and Intelligence Sensitivity Assessments (ISAs). Support technical Adversary Cyber Threat Assessments (ACTA) and technical Intelligence supportability analyses.
  • Conduct intelligence supportability analysis for each MDA program element and prepare the associated documentation. Identify, develop, and document portfolio-specific intelligence Production Requirements (PRs), and coordinate as necessary with the IC for portfolio-specific intelligence products.
  • Support the integration of current intelligence, acquisition intelligence, and technical intelligence into the development and sustainment of nuclear communications.
  • Prepare and deliver portfolio-focused summaries of IC products monthly at all geographies.
  • Be prepared to deliver a weekly summary when requested, to include supporting and presenting intelligence reports, briefings, updates, white papers, and technical data.
  • Researching and gathering intelligence data, developing and presenting briefings, attending and participating in meetings, developing required documentation, and providing weekly status updates.
  • Research and respond to RFIs from MDA Senior Leadership, MDA Program Elements, two letters, and Missile Intelligence Secure Link clients that may include briefings, updates, and/or technical intelligence engineering.
  • Review MDS development documents to verify threat information is consistent with current IC reporting and attend regularly scheduled meetings via VTC or through on-site visits to various IC organizations.
  • Contribute technical expertise related to intelligence and indications and warning that can inform 'left-of-launch' operations.
  • Participate in community of interest meetings and integrate intelligence analysis and intelligence operations activities related to communications defeat using a holistic approach.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage community of interest resources in test events to further nuclear communications objectives.
