About The Position

Amyx is seeking to hire an Acquisition Consultant/Sr. Management Analyst to be located in Falls Church, VA. This role is responsible for standardizing, centralizing, coordinating, and integrating information related to acquisition reporting requirements and program execution. The individual will build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, manage information in SharePoint, and ensure acquisition policies and processes are followed. This position requires the ability to communicate accurate information, lead portfolio data calls, prepare decision packages, and transform analysis into concise formats for leadership. The role also involves developing standardized workflows, reviewing documentation for milestone decision authority reviews, and conducting research and analysis to support enterprise-level oversight. Coordination with other contractors to integrate systems engineering considerations is also a key aspect of this role, including researching DoD policy, drafting DHA systems engineering policy, assessing acquisition programs for compliance, and reviewing acquisition documentation.

Requirements

Master’s degree in business, acquisition.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
Eight (8) years of experience with knowledge of the federal acquisition process supporting Program Executive Office (PEO)/ Program Management Office (PMO) operations and activities for Acquisition Category (ACAT), Business Category (BCAT), Services Category (SCAT), or DoD adaptive acquisition framework programs; policy implementation, logistics, life cycle management; acquisition support; performing technical analyses, studies or project planning and monitoring involving the design, development or acquisition of systems and implementation of associated functional changes.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the DoD 5000 series and associated milestone decisions and reviews, to include experience with the implementation of the DoD 5000 acquisition policy, strategy, and processes.
Extensive experience with acquisition strategies and acquisition lifecycle management plan and providing advice and guidance.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Must have the ability to communicate accurate information.

Nice To Haves

Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
Knowledge of Federal and DOD acquisition regulations and procedures.
Experience as a program manager of DoD acquisition programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Standardizing, centralizing, coordinating, and integrating information.

Transforming analysis into concise, decision-ready formats for leadership (IMR/SRRB Support as well as other support needed to ensure 5000.74 compliance).
Developing standardized workflows and processes to support PAE MS operations and enable decision making.
Reviewing and analyzing documentation in support of PAE MS and milestone decision authority review.
Conducting research and analysis and transforming analysis into concise format for leadership to effectively support enterprise-level oversight to ensure medical services acquisitions deliver mission outcomes, cost effectiveness, performance accountability, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinating closely with the CSE and support contractors to integrate systems engineering considerations into all planning, implementation, management, sustainment, and oversight activities.
Researching and analyzing DoD policy.
Drafting and coordinating DHA systems engineering policy and standards.
Assessing acquisition programs in development, deployment or sustainment for compliance with Functional Sponsor requirements, Federal and DoD statutory and regulatory systems engineering requirements and best practices.
Assessing Program requirements, functional designs, plans and schedules, and providing recommendations.
Reviewing milestone and decision acquisition documentation for completeness and soundness of approach and providing recommendations.
Supporting the exercise of systems engineering functional leadership and focus within the acquisition structure on integration and interoperability across the DHA.
