Requirements

1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Minimum 1 year of SAP and/or Salesforce experience
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are REQUIRED.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.
Testing results required for alpha-numeric typing and Power-User Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience in SAP, Salesforce, Power BI and/or VIP-PPM a plus.
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Accounting, Math, Finance, IT, Economics, or Business

Responsibilities

Review and record Chain and/or Distributor promotional programs into SAP.
Manage open accrual balances.
Participate in month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and adherence to audit standards.
Work closely with Chain and Distributor partners and internal Sales teams to validate funding details and secure required approvals for accurate financial reporting.
Review promotional funding regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness of information, proper coding, and full compliance with audit standards.
Manage Chain/Distributor-related funding, including regularly communicating with Sales for updates, additions, and adjustments to accruals based on estimated and actual promotional costs, while adhering to established financial close deadlines.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to validate promotional accruals, requiring strong customer service and clear, professional communication skills.
Support Ad Hoc projects and various department functions as needed.
Act as the subject matter expert for assigned Chain/Distributor accounts, possessing specialized knowledge of promotions, account managers, chain/distributor-specific practices, and best approaches for managing accounts.
