About The Position

Providence is calling for Accreditation Program Manager - Accreditation - Per Diem, Day, Hybrid (Texas). The Accreditation Manager for the Physical Environment has a key staff role in supporting the Health System with compliance to accreditation standards as well as state and federal regulations. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Accreditation and Regulatory Services, the position will assist with developing processes to maintain external accreditation, licensure, and certification of system acute care entities and other facilities; perform staff duties in support of system initiatives; and take a lead role in developing and implementing new processes, technologies, and resources for knowledge transfer related to accreditation services programs. In addition, this role supports, in partnership with Patient Safety, the implementation of Caring Reliably and processes to support Providence in becoming a transparent, learning organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, Or equivalent education/experience
  • 5 years experience in acute care (hospital) setting
  • 3 years experience in leadership role for environment of care or emergency management

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training in NFPA code
  • NIMS training
