Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years experience in a correctional facility
Working knowledge of NCCHC Standards
Experience with clinical accreditation or quality improvement

Nice To Haves

Active RN or LPN/LVN license preferred

Responsibilities

Review assigned sites for progress made toward completion of annual maintenance items (e.g. disaster drills, peer review, man down drills, etc.)
Review assigned sites for ongoing compliance items (e.g. staff meetings, MAC meetings, CQI/mortality meetings, compliance with sharps/narc/ID logs). This includes email notification to Health Services Administrator and Regional Nursing Director of any deficiencies.
Review content of MAC meeting minutes, staff meetings, and CQI studies for assigned sites. Includes notification and education sent to Health Services Administrators and nursing regional directors.
Assist site Health Services Administrators with preparation for onsite NCCHC, ACA, and other applicable auditing body site visits.
Act as a liaison with each Health Services Administrator with accreditation questions and support, measured by a leadership assessment completed by Health Services Administrators of assigned sites.
