About The Position

The Accounts Reconciliation Analyst II is responsible for correcting pre-claim edits, reviewing correspondence related to aged accounts for resolution, follow-up on billed claims with insurance companies, utilizing online resources, telephone and correspondence. This position is based within Jefferson Regional Patient Accounting Department.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2-year medical office or hospital clerical experience
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suites
• Able to trend and resolve denied or delayed claims
• Able to calculate expected reimbursement based on hospital contracts with payers

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or other related field
• Experience with medical claims follow up and account resolution
• Knowledge of insurance allocation rules
