About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor oversees the cash application of customer payments from multiple sources into the ERP system, resolves issues with customer payments, and works with the Collections group as needed. This position requires significant knowledge of the software and processes used by the organization, supervises the Cash Application team, and serves as a point person for questions and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Basic Windows and Google Suite or Microsoft Office computer skills required.
  • Superior data entry and 10-key skills required, Must be able to balance speed and accuracy.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • Prior supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor activities of the Cash Application team to ensure timely processing of all customer receipts.
  • Ensure resolution of all discrepancies in customer payments.
  • Perform month-end duties and account reconciliations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting effectively and courteously with internal and external customers.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train Cash Application Specialists.
  • Involved in hiring and career development.
  • Recommend, coordinate, and implement processes and internal controls.
  • Leadership in achieving department goals and improvements with the Manager of Financial.
  • Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business.
